Strike @ kolkata on 30th November 2009

Today I experienced a strike by BJP, a major political opponent. It was a 12 hrs bandh. I faced the heat when I was going to office. Well I dint get much of it, but our bus stopped when our driver saw few mobs stopping cabs near Rajarhat, DLF building. We had to walk to our office, Guess what police was there near the Salt lake gate, and the BJP supporters were stopping th cars just at a distance of 10 minutes by walk. What a situation it was, it was all cool at Sat lake, but just before entering Salt Lake, people were facing the heat. Huh. I dint even know about the Bandh, I dint know about th political party and th issue, but saw the funny thing, irresponsible plice and few lads with sticks stopping cars.
