My visit to UBI Ariadaha branch

Yesterday I visited local United Bank of India or UBI. I want to share my experience with you. I stepped into the bank when it was 11.15 am. It is on the second floor of the flat. When anyone enter the branch first thing he will notice, there is no security at the gate (may be some cameras will take care of that. LOLZ) In front of the main entrance there are 3 counters, my eyes were searching for an enquiry counter, and so it got stuck on the counter at extreme right. Well the enquiry counter was empty (trust me there were flies too!!), now it became tough for me to find someone who can answer my query. I took the left passage to the next counter, all were very busy, so decided not to disturb them, and the branch manager was sitting them in front of that counter all. I saw him chatting over phone, a person was sitting in front of his table and another person was standing outside of his cabin. I thought of the enquiry counter again, when I turned back, I saw there were another counter and it was empty to, this counter was just beside the entrance, so when I entered , I could not see it. Anyways the enquiry counter was still empty. I returned to that counter where some people were working and asked one of them if can get a locker in the branch, he told me to have a talk with the branch manager. So I turned to him again.

That big man was still busy with his call. I stood behind the person who was there outside the cabin, waiting for the person sitting in front of manager to come out. The queue started building; two people came and stood behind me. At last after 5 minutes or so, manager hang up the phone, then the person standing behind me, entered the cabin, and started talking to the manager, I guess, he wanted to check his locker. Manager left his chair and started walking towards the locker. And I made up my mind not to have any relation with such a branch where people do not care about potential customers.

Well, all old man, with no ambition and enthusiasm, made that branch, I did not see anyone of them less than 40, and they were all near 50 or 50+. I thought if something comes up urgent, after taking a locker there, with that bunch of people it will be impossible to access my locker, so better not to open the account or locker there.
