Water for your phone number

Last Saturday I got a bottle of mineral water for free!!It was not a part of any scheme that was going on in market; ACTUALLY some agents from ICICI bank were trying to get phone numbers of potential customers.
To get business these guys are really aggressive, they collect you phone number from anywhere, you can never imagine. But I appreciated when I saw they are actually doing something good this time. It was really hot that day, and I was working out, when I saw 3 people standing outside of the club with a box in their hands. When me or rather we got out they offered us a water bottle and asked for our number, on asking they said they are from ICICI BANK, I understood that they are in search of new customers.

After few days one of them called me and offering me personal loan, and then I told them about my existing relations with the bank, and said that I don’t need anything for now. They had nothing more to say. Now let us look at the bottle they gave me, it is a new brand, do not know who are manufacturing this, looked like they are actually promoting themselves with the help of the bank. I dint taste the water, but when my mom tasted it, she dint like it much. Anyhow I liked the way of marketing, the mineral water was also getting promoted and also the bank was getting new potential customers contact.
