May be this is the most vital questions for all of us as we are all associated with all kind of writing and editing jobs, as I am blogging, someone else is doing some freelance content writing or editing jobs, but all of us have one point in mind that how to write a better article so that we keep getting business?
Well I am never claiming that I am the best person under the Sun to answer this question, yet I can help you a bit with my limited knowledge. I talked with many successful writers who are earning a lot by writing on internet, to be more specific I have talked with successful freelance writers. And got some tips from them about writing good professional articles, so want to share those with you.
1) Avoid run-ons
2) Avoid spelling mistakes
3) Write in simple English
4) Write simple and short sentences
5) Be specific ,so that anyone can understand the message you want to convey
We are not story writers or not out here to set writing trends. What we all try to do is share knowledge. That we can do best when, we will be able to convey the intended message to the reader through the writing. Big sentence often causes lose of patience, so we should try to avoid run on sentences.
We can easily avoid spelling mistakes with spell check tools available, even with our favorite MS word application, still I would recommend that you should read the article to find out any misplaced word.
Article in easy and simple English is always helpful for a person like me who does not have much knowledge in English ,and experts won’t have problem to read such article either.
